When can I enroll?

The enrollment process is quick and painless. Simply sign up when you buy your new phone or device, and your protection will start immediately. Need a little time to think it over? Enroll within 15 days after your purchase and protection will start immediately.

Please note that your device must be fully operational and without damage at the time of program activation in order to enroll. If you elect to enroll at any time after 15 days from the date you purchased your device, your coverage begins 30 days after enrollment.

Where can I enroll?

Currently, this program are available for most customers in the United States. That means we’ve got you covered if you’re in New York, California, Texas and almost anywhere else.

Wing device protection is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wyoming

What does my program cover?

Wing Device Protection is an insurance plan that protects accidental damage and lost / stolen.

How do I file a claim?

You can file a claim at brightstarprotect.com/ithappens or by calling Brightstar Customer Service at (855)-953-4223.

How long do I have to submit a claim?

A claim must be reported to Brightstar Device Protection within 60 days from the date of the issue. You will have 60 days to provide all information requested for claim adjudication. If you don’t take delivery of the replacement device within 60 days of claim approval, your claim will be forfeited.

If payment isn’t received within 10 days of the due date, your insurance coverage may be canceled. You may cancel “It Happens” Insurance at any time by calling Wing at 1-818-722-1441.

How many claims am I allowed?

Brightstar Device Protection customers are limited to two approved claims in any rolling 12 month period.
