Customers with 3G devices should upgrade to a newer device, at least 4G-compatible before 3G retires this year in 2022:

Wing-AT&T: February 22, 2022.
Wing-Sprint: March 31, 2022.
Wing T-Mobile: July 1, 2022.
Wing-Verizon: December 31, 2022.

What is happening with 3G?

The 3G sunset is just part of a bigger step towards new and better solutions for cellular networks. Major network providers are adopting new technologies and phasing out 3G networks to make room for upgrades. This means devices that is compatible with 3G only will no longer be supported when the phase-out is complete.

How do I know if my device is affected?

What should I do if my device is affected?

When will 3G be shut down?

Wing-AT&T users, 3G services retires on February 22, 2022.
Wing-Sprint users, 3G and LTE services retire on March 31, 2022.
Wing T-Mobile users, 3G services retires on July 1, 2022.
Wing-Verizon users, 3G services retires on December 31, 2022.
Now is the time to upgrade your device to prevent service interruptions.

How can I find my IMEI number?

All mobile phones have a unique International Mobile Equipment Identity number or IMEI. This can be used for various security purposes such as identifying the manufacturer of the device and determining whether it has been reported as stolen, among others.

For Android Users:
1. Go to Settings > About Phone > Status.
On some Androids, it can be
Settings > General > About Device > Status or in a similar path.
2. From this setting, scroll down until you see the IMEI number in the list.

For iPhone Users:
1. Go to Settings > General > About.
2. From this setting, scroll down until you see the IMEI number in the list.

Alternatively, dialing *#06# will display your device's IMEI.

How can I find my device model number?

A device's model number is commonly found outside of the device, usually printed on the back. If the model number is not labeled at the back of your phone, kindly follow the instructions below:

For Android Users:
1. Go to Settings > About Phone > Status.
On some Androids, it can be
Settings > General > About Device > Status or in a similar path.
2. From this setting, scroll down until you see the device model number in the list.

For iOS Users:
For iPhones, the device model number can be found in several places, including Settings, on the physical device, in the Finder or iTunes, and on the original packaging.
1. Go to Settings > General > About.
2. From this setting, scroll down until you see the device model number in the list.

For Other Phones:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click About Phone to check the model name and number.

Another alternative is to remove the back cover, remove the battery, and find the model number on the inside of the phone, printed in white label.

Can I still use the same MDN when I upgrade to a new device or plan?

Definitely! Your phone number can still be ported into your new device or plan. You can also port in a number from another carrier.
